Volunteer Program

Volunteers play a very important role in helping support Area Health Education Center of Southern Nevada's mission to: "To improve Nevada's health status through education and outreach." This new program exemplifies a cooperative spirit using local community partners and high school and college students, to work directly with members of the Las Vegas community providing education and outreach opportunities.

Academic Partners

If you are a college student in need of fulfilling a Capstone requirement or if you are in high school looking to do a mentorship, Area Health Education Center (AHEC) has joined with the following community academic partners:

University of Phoenix
Nevada State College
University of Southern Nevada
Las Vegas High School-PAL program

We welcome the opportunity to build relationships with other local universities or high schools.
